Who We Are

About RecoverPurpose

Real people. Real nights. Real community — gathered around a fire, choosing something better together.

Our Mission

What RecoverPurpose Is

RecoverPurpose is not a series of separate programs — it's a continuous recovery community. People enter through detox and individualized treatment, then move into housing built around their needs, surrounded by others committed to growth, accountability, and hope. As they gain stability, they grow within the community — becoming mentors, neighbors, leaders, parents, and role models for those just beginning their journey.

What We Believe

Recovery is a belief before it's a behaviour

These are the convictions that shape everything we do — from how we design our housing to how we walk alongside every person in our community.

Recovery is an active change

Recovery is an active change in ideas, attitudes, and behaviors — developing healthier patterns, new ways of thinking, and practical skills for daily life.

Healing begins in the mind

We believe that recovery and healing begins in the mind. The way we think shapes the way we live, and lasting change starts from the inside out.

The disease tries to isolate

We believe the disease tries to isolate individuals — and the only way to do recovery wrong is to try to do it on your own. That is the reason we value community so heavily.

People need a path they can see

We believe people need a path where they can see that recovery was possible for someone — and that that someone can show them how to do it.

There is always another chance

We believe that no matter how many times recovery has failed for someone, as long as they are still alive they have a chance. The only way to keep from falling into active addiction is to not take that first one.
